The Coptic Museum

In the morning, meet with our professional representative at the hotel and depart for a half-day visit to the Coptic Museum, which is based in the Coptic Quarter. It is the largest museum in the world of its kind, with an impressive collection of approximately 16,000 pieces exhibited in chronological order in 12 different sections. The building is divided into two wings: the old wing and the new wing. It was completely remodeled shortly before its centenary in order to display the best of Coptic art and culture.
